DISOCIA · COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Make room for each other.

Updated September 7, 2026 · Notice version 2026-09-07

Be curious, be considerate, and leave other people in control of their participation.

What we ask of members

  • No harassment, threats, hateful abuse, or encouragement of violence.
  • Respect privacy. Do not post someone’s private information or intimate images without their consent.
  • Share only material you have the right to share. No illegal content, sexual content involving minors, scams, impersonation, or spam.
  • Respect blocks and another person’s decision to leave a conversation. Do not create another account to evade a restriction.

Your controls

Mute an account to hide its posts, or block to prevent new interactions and content access in both directions. You can remove a thread you started with Dissociate. Blocking and deletion cannot recall screenshots or copies someone already received.

Reports and decisions

Use Report on a member post to send a private concern to the project operator. Open Reports for the outcome and notices about your own posts. The operator can keep, hide, or restore a post and shares a reason for the decision. Hidden-post authors can still permanently delete their posts.

Reports are reviewed by the project operator as capacity allows. Disocia does not provide a staffed emergency response or an independent appeals process. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

Joining the circle

New applicants attest that they are at least 18 and accept these guidelines and the data notice. Access is reviewed individually. The operator may decline a request; the signed-in request screen shows its status and any decision reason.
